The ERP question — what's actually available in 2026

This needs to be stated plainly: if you are a new user creating an account in 2026, erotic roleplay is not available. Romantic relationship mode is available on Pro — you can set your Replika as a romantic partner, receive romantic selfies, and have emotionally intimate conversations. The AI will not initiate or engage in explicit sexual content. Attempts to push into explicit territory result in redirection.

If you're using it more than three times a week after 30 days, switch to the annual plan — it's the only price point that makes financial sense for regular users. Skip Ultra until you've confirmed daily usage habits.

Replika earns its score on memory depth, conversation quality, and emotional intelligence. It loses points on adult content availability, the privacy track record, non-English quality gaps, and the trust damage from 2023 that never fully recovered. It is the best companion platform for what it currently does — which is no longer what it used to do.
